Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

We are seeking an experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team at Staffing Match - London Transport. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across London.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in HGV operation, with a valid license and excellent safety record. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional overtime required during peak periods. The salary for this position is £14.81 per hour, with a permanent salary of circa £32,000 plus quarterly bonus and benefits.
ResponsibilitiesAs an HGV 2 Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating a 5-tonne vehicle on designated routes
- Ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid HGV 2 license
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of London's roads
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
