Aquarius is seeking an experienced and skilled Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals and families affected by addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in the delivery of addiction services
  • Ensure good clinical practice and adherence to policy and statutory requirements
  • Provide induction, supervision, coaching, and work and development reviews to team members
  • Manage performance management issues and assist in the recruitment of team members and volunteers
  • Develop and maintain effective liaison with commissioners and service providers
  • Manage the budget for the service and ensure accurate recording and data reporting
  • Promote Aquarius' values and mission
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or equivalent
  • Proven experience of working in the substance misuse field
  • Commitment to complete NVQ4 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Knowledge of alcohol and health-related issues, including the functional model of alcohol use
  • Experience of staff supervision/management/training
  • Familiarity with primary, secondary, and other outreach settings
  • Good understanding of safeguarding issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
