Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to join our team in Port Talbot. This is a vital role that contributes to the smooth running of our supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for the Head of Supply Chain Services.
  • Ensure accurate supplier information, timely purchase orders, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage key procurement tasks such as maintaining quality assurance data, monitoring supplier agreements, and chasing deliveries.
Requirements:
  • A solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and a high degree of computer literacy.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally IFS or similar.
  • High level of accuracy when handling data and maintaining records.
Benefits:
