Windsor Forest College Group is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Technical Skills Coach Engineering. This position is part of the Slough & Langley College team and is a full-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of apprentices in the Engineering Levels 3-6 Apprenticeship Programmes.
- Provide effective skills coaching and mentoring to enhance the apprentice and employer experience.
- Conduct visits and formative assessments in the workplace or remotely to support students' progress towards a successful gateway.
- Teach the theory elements of the standard in a classroom environment and provide ongoing support to apprentices and their employers.
Requirements:
- A Level 4 or higher Teaching Qualification or the willingness to work towards this while on the job.
- An Appropriate Engineering HNC/HND/Degree and/or vocational qualification or equivalent.
- Ideal candidate will be IEng registered.
- An A1 Assessors Award is a strong advantage.
