Job Overview:
At Leonardo, we are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill our industrial placement roles in Microwave Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance RF systems, including Microwave/RF systems, to execute Rx, Tx, and signal processing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Microwave/RF systems up to 40GHz
- Use latest software design tools to create diverse range of products, including TRMs and Up/Down converters
- Collaborate with world-class experts to develop robust designs that function reliably in harsh environments
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to the development of high-performance EW systems
Requirements:
- Predicted 2:1 grade in a relevant degree discipline, such as Physics, Applied Physics, Mathematics, Electronic Engineering, or other STEM subject degrees
- Strong understanding of Microwave and RF design principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
