Lloyd Recruitment Services is partnering with a family-run business in the Horley area to fill a permanent Buying Assistant position. This exciting opportunity offers full training and career progression.
The ideal candidate has a keen interest in buying as a function and desires to develop their skills in this area. They should be highly administrative, professional, and organized, with excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities. Experience sourcing components from the Far East would be advantageous.
This role provides the chance to source products for major luxury brands on the high street, with a supportive and fun working atmosphere. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with free parking on-site and access to regular staff incentives and social gatherings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise and accurately process Purchase Orders for various customers
- Manage samples in and out of the business
- Understand critical paths to ensure timely delivery of components and goods
- Check packaging artwork for agreement with ingredient lists and safety data sheets
- Enter product data into customers' portals
Salary Details:
We offer a salary range of £28k - £32k depending on experience, providing an attractive package for the right candidate.
