Job Title: Financial Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our Institutional Retirement division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a cost management ethos across the division, ensuring it is embedded in all decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a robust budgeting and forecasting process across Institutional Retirement, covering FTE and direct costs.
  2. Conduct variance analysis to provide insights into changes and their effects on meeting FTE and cost targets.
  3. Produce analyses, trend reports, and Management Information Packs for senior management meetings to aid decision-making and strategic planning.
  4. Oversee the production of unit cost reporting to LGR actuarial teams.
  5. Take ownership of quarterly unit cost deliverables, ensuring timely submission and production.
  6. Develop relationships with managers and directors to provide financial perspectives and promote a culture shift in respect of attitudes to cost and cost management.
Requirements:
  1. Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  2. Knowledge of Anaplan and Power BI is highly desirable.
  3. Experience in financial planning and forecasting, preferably in the Life Insurance industry.
  4. Ability to present data in a meaningful and effective way, understanding the needs of end-users.
  5. Experience in challenging, supporting, and influencing business decisions to ensure financial targets are met.
