Private Client Solicitor

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Private Client Solicitor to join our team at Liberty Towers in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor to develop their legal career in a supportive and professional environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and inheritance tax planning. They will provide high-quality legal advice to individuals, families, and trustees on all aspects of private client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of private client matters, including drafting and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trust deeds, and probate applications.
- Provide legal advice to clients on private client work, including estate planning, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Maintain and build strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and dealing with HMRC inheritance tax issues.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
- Experience in private client work, gained during training or post-qualification.
- Strong drafting and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A client-focused approach with the ability to provide compassionate and tailored advice.
