About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team in Cheddar. As a key member of our Electromechanical Service team, you will be responsible for conducting mechanical maintenance, repairs, and assembly of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of workshop activities and complete daily timesheets.
  • Participate in shift work, call-outs, and overtime as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, and take direction from senior team members.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience working with electrical motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems and knowledge of relevant safety protocols.
  • Able to work varied shifts, including overtime, and demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
