Regional Financial Controller

IDBS is a leading provider of software solutions for the life sciences industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Regional Financial Controller to join our dynamic Finance Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of monthly financial reporting, maintaining internal control, and developing financial controls in accordance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial information for reporting to the Global Financial Controller
  • Maintaining internal control, balance sheet reviews, and the monthly close process
  • Ownership of statutory accounts production, including liaison with auditors
  • Providing tax support to the Danaher tax team to ensure timely completion of annual returns
  • Leading revenue recognition and providing technical support, including financial billing controls
  • Driving continuous improvements and recommending changes in processes and controls
  • Actively business partnering with all areas of IDBS to help achieve financial objectives for revenue and operating income
  • Line management of the finance team, ensuring a highly motivated and effective team with strong succession planning, performance, and development for growth

Requirements:

  • Knowledge/experience of NetSuite and working with a SaaS software company is desirable
  • Experience in financial reporting in a global matrix organization, with working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and ASC606, along with strong transactional finance capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of internal control procedures and working knowledge of tax concepts
  • Exceptional ability to lead a finance team, as well as in a more hands-on capacity as required

What we offer:

  • Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 per annum + car allowance and bonus
