Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to lead our maintenance function and drive engineering strategy for our rapidly growing food manufacturing site in North Yorkshire.

This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong culture and a commitment to excellence. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse maintenance team, planning workloads, writing and maintaining PPM/CMMS, performance management, budgetary control, and project work to drive ongoing improvements and installations.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in food/FMCG experience as a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager, with experience of leading multi-disciplined engineering teams. They will be a genuine team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with other Senior Managers on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse maintenance function, planning and delegating workloads
  • Write and maintain PPM/CMMS systems
  • Manage team performance and budgets
  • Drive ongoing improvements and installations through project work

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £75-£80k, plus a great bonus, pension, healthcare, and other benefits. The successful candidate will also have full control of the engineering budget, including controlling P&L.
