Audit and Accounts Assistant Managers/Managers are sought after by Spencer Clarke Group to work in our Manchester and Stockport offices. This exciting role offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days annual leave, discretionary bonuses, Christmas and New Year off, paid charity day, death in service, critical illness cover, pension scheme, and access to salary sacrifice schemes.

The role entails reviewing accounts, tax computations, letter of representation, and board reports. You will also be responsible for managing and developing staff through on-job learning, delegating tasks, providing constructive feedback, and executing audit plans within a budget. Additionally, you will oversee audit teams, review their work, and efficiently manage your client portfolio to ensure timely completion of work.

The essentials for this role include being ACCA/ACA Qualified or having relevant equivalent experience, with experience working with clients in different sectors such as Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Media and Telecommunications. You should also have experience with Microsoft Excel, including using Pivot tables, SUMIFS, and VLOOKUPs, as well as experience managing a team.
