Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Care Professional to join our team at Broadmead Rest Home. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to our residents.

About the Role

  • To oversee the care provision of all aspects of the service users' needs, including personal care, medication administration, mobility, continence promotion, assistance with feeding, and updating documentation.
  • To assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
  • To help promote as much personal and physical independence and choice as possible in the activities of daily living undertaken by the residents within the Care Home.
  • Review and implement care plans and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • To attend regular training programmes/courses as available, which will further existing knowledge and skills.
  • Complete audits and quality assurance measures as instructed by the manager.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • An exciting opportunity for a current senior carer or team leader looking to progress in their career.
  • The working week is contracted at 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. You may be required to cover shifts outside of these hours on occasions, which may include bank holidays.
