About the Role
We are seeking two Science Laboratory Support Specialists to join our outstanding department. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to teaching staff, ensuring the safe and proper use of equipment and resources. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of teaching activities, promoting student engagement and motivation.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to teaching staff in the Science department
- Maintain and repair laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient resource management
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical knowledge of Science laboratory equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A well-developed interest in Science, with a Technician NVQ or equivalent preferred
