About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team at Evelina London Children's Hospital. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our outpatient services, including the delivery of a range of Allied Health Professional (AHP) and Psychology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operational management of all outpatient services, including the management of staff, resources, and budgets.
  • Lead on a programme of improvements across the service, working with services to manage and develop their network portfolios.
  • Ensure the effective provision of outpatients in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls, and resource constraints.
  • Deliver against targets in a range of service areas, including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, and Psychology.
  • Work closely with clinical leads and teams to ensure the smooth running of outpatient services.
  • Monitor the utilisation of outpatient clinics and ensure that services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
