The Director of Public Health plays a pivotal role in leading the organisation's pioneering efforts to address inequalities and improve health outcomes. As a statutory chief officer, you will be responsible for delivering excellent public health services, working closely with the Executive Director of Adults, Childrens and Health, Chief Executive, and Corporate Leadership team.

Salary and Benefits

We are offering an annual salary of £123,062 plus an extensive range of employee benefits, including 31-36 days' annual leave, local government pension scheme, and access to a free onsite gym.

You will take a cross-system approach to deliver the ambitious Health and Wellbeing Strategy, ensuring that communities remain safe, healthy, and thriving. This requires exceptional leadership acumen, a proven track record of partnership working, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Reducing inequalities in health outcomes and protecting local communities\
