Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant at Gordons Chemists. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining stock levels, and promoting our product ranges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and customer interactions.
• Assist in the merchandising of products, ensuring that displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
• Develop knowledge of our product ranges, promotions, and special offers to provide expert advice to customers.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Basic numeracy and accuracy skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of health and beauty products or pharmacy retail experience.
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle (for delivery and collection of prescriptions).
