Job Summary

We Are With You is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Therapist for Children and Young People. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and young people.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with children and young people to provide evidence-based interventions based on NICE Guideline recommended treatment. This will involve working with clients in a clinical setting, using a range of therapeutic approaches to support their mental health and wellbeing.

The Trainee Therapist will also be required to participate in regular supervision and training sessions to develop their skills and knowledge in working with children and young people.

About the Role

This is a full-time training position, which will begin in January 2025. The successful candidate will be employed by We Are With You and will also be enrolled as a student on the King's College London CYP Psychological Training Programme.

Upon completion of the training, the qualified Trainee Therapist will receive a Postgraduate Diploma in CYP Psychological Training from King's College London.

Person Specification

We are seeking highly motivated candidates who are enthusiastic about making a difference to children's mental health through evidence-based interventions based on NICE Guideline recommended treatment.

The successful candidate will need to have a UK passport or settled status in the UK, and will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
