About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Adoptions Manager to join our team at Vistry Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our business.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Construction and Commercial Departments to ensure timely sign-off and handover of roads, sewers, play areas, and open spaces.
  2. Coordinate site inspections and identify issues, monitor quality, and provide feedback or raise concerns with the build team and contractors.
  3. Arrange and review CCTV surveys, As-Built surveys, and other relevant documents.
  4. Provide assistance with Adoption Plans, Deed Plans, Agreements, and statutory processes.
  5. Manage external consultants and their performance and costs.
  6. Cultivate and maintain relationships with adopting bodies, including Highways Authorities, Water Authorities, Councils, and Management Companies.
  7. Liaise with Subcontractors and the Commercial Department regarding completion of works, variations, inspections, and rectifying sub-standard works.
  8. Procure and manage utility works and installations to facilitate adoptions and handovers.
  9. Arrange site inspections and identify works required to achieve adoption.
  10. Undertake regular site inspections of completed developments and review Health and Safety implications.
  11. Arrange and review Operational Safety inspections of Play Areas and request repair works.
  12. Work within budget and obtain tenders for completion works.
  13. Manage the Adoptions completion spreadsheet and budget.
  14. Make applications to external bodies for the removal of associated Bonds and obtain Maintenance and Adoption Certificates.
