Senior HR Employment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Employment Specialist to join our HR Talent Services team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd.

This role will provide expertise on employment legislation and compliance, ensuring alignment on internal business practices and global HR projects.

The successful candidate will create and manage tools and resources to support compliance-related policies and practices, and maintain HR-related compliance templates, process maps, and associated practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing employment relations trends or patterns to inform better policy and practice or identify management training needs.
  • Identifying, developing, and maintaining processes, resources, and tools for HR Client Services regarding employment compliance-related policies and practices.
  • Managing and delivering ongoing compliance training for the HR team in collaboration with regional HR Client Services leadership.
  • Providing guidance and consulting with HR Client Services on legislative requirements that impact employment and business practices and processes.
  • Managing/providing expertise to business and employment projects and programs.
  • Managing/providing key support on projects initiated from the HR strategic plan and the broader HR team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, and bring proven experience in HR Advisory roles, employee relations, and compliance expertise.

This opportunity will be based in either our Warrington or Manchester office, with a minimum of 3 days per week required in the Warrington office.
