Personal Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to provide support to a 38-year-old individual with cerebral palsy. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and household duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Accompany the individual on outings and provide mobility support
- Assist with household duties, including meal preparation and cleaning
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with the individual
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid DBS check and permission to work in the UK
Working Hours:
Hours to be arranged mutually with the individual and Disability North. A car driver is essential, and ideally, the successful candidate will live close to Whitburn.
