Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our Financial Services team at BDO UK. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit teams and managing client relationships, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality audit services that meet their needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead audit teams and manage client relationships to ensure high-quality audit services
- Develop and implement audit strategies and plans to meet client needs and expectations
- Manage and supervise audit teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of audits
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure audit quality and client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent
- Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements
- Experience of auditing within the financial services sector with experience of firms within one or more of the asset management including corporate wealth, capital markets, banking and alternative finance
- Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering
- Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures
- Excellent Project Management experience, including budgeting, resourcing, managing specialists and experts and overseeing remote teams
