About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse leader to join our team as Matron. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality compassionate care and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of nursing strategies to improve patient safety and experience.
  • Provide expert advice to the Clinical Director and Group Directorate Manager on all nursing matters.
  • Manage a devolved budget for a number of clinical areas, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of cost improvement programmes, ensuring the quality of care is risk-assessed and managed appropriately.
