About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Strategist to join our team at SAP SE. As a founding member of the Sovereign Cloud Delivery and Architecture team, you will inspire innovation and drive execution of disciplined and standardized security processes and tools addressing mission-critical capability gaps and opportunities for maximized efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Manage development and automation of security solutions in alignment with security strategy.
  • Design security concepts for infrastructure management on a global scale.
  • Collaborate with global Sovereign Cloud operations teams and hyperscaler provider partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguities while being innovative and collaborative.
  • Strong analytical research and technology skills and the willingness to learn new topics quickly.
  • Proven ability to produce documentation for processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-architecture teams and deliver against challenging timelines.
  • Persistence, self-motivation and willingness to work under pressure.
  • 10-15 years of software Development/DevSecOps/Networking experience in all phases of SDLC.
  • Experience deploying technical infrastructure at a global scale and migrating infrastructure, applications or databases.
  • Strong experience in operating systems administration and security engineering, with working knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and GIT.
  • Working knowledge of Log Correlation, Vulnerability Management, Web Application Testing concepts and familiarity with managing and securing Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with securing products on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP and exposure to NIST, ISO, or other compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with sovereign cloud or Gaia-X concepts.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
