Self-Employed Live-In Caregiver Opportunity

Make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing live-in care services as a self-employed individual with Country Cousins, a reputable UK-based care agency. Our team is seeking dedicated, self-employed carers who can work independently and unsupervised in clients' homes.

As a Country Cousins live-in carer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to clients, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia. You will work closely with other care agencies and medical professionals, such as Marie Curie, Macmillan, and district nurses.

We offer a competitive pay rate of up to £1050 per week, flexible working patterns, and the choice of when you work. You will also receive free room and board while on assignment, as well as travel expenses covered to and from your assignment.

Our core values include enhancing clients' lives, respecting their personal space and belongings, delivering the best possible private home care, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. We require our carers to have a minimum of 6 months' experience in a regulated care environment, be self-employed with two professional references, and agree to complete the relevant DBS/PVG checks.

Our training program includes Manual Handling, Basic First Aid, and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults. We offer three levels of live-in home care, depending on your experience and relevant skills. Once you've been accepted as a Country Cousins carer, we will discuss and agree with you as to which level you are most suited.
