Job Title: Auditor, Officer, Hybrid

Devon Assurance Partnership is seeking a skilled Auditor to join our team. As an Auditor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive Counter Fraud, Internal Audit, and Risk Management Services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, defining, allocating, carrying out, and monitoring progress on assurance assignments to enable clients to meet corporate objectives and statutory obligations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and carry out reviews allocated, under the direction of the appropriate manager(s), with due professional care and in accordance with professional standards, applicable guidance, and financial regulations.
  • Work in partnership with other bodies, such as police, external audit, external contractors, or consultants, to secure robust internal controls to protect client and partners' interests as required.
  • Assist with the management and development of a high-quality Internal Assurance Service to the Partnership's clients, specifically: assisting with assurance planning and resource scheduling, undertaking assurance compliance and substantive testing as directed/necessary, risk management, contract audit, computer audit, and gathering evidence by way of conducting interviews, observations, visiting properties, and taking witness statements from relevant organizations and members of the public.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

Hybrid remote in Exeter.
