Job Title: 3D CAD Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced 3D CAD Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a global engineering and construction company based in Surrey.

Job Summary:

The 3D CAD Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and performing a range of activities associated with 3D CAD coordination, management, and system administration. This includes managing system set-up, administration, and maintenance, as well as coordinating the development of the 3D multi-discipline Smartplant S3D model.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage system set-up, administration, and maintenance.
  2. Coordinate the development of the 3D multi-discipline Smartplant S3D model.
  3. Ensure project specified deliverables can be produced from the model and that the content complies with company and client standards and conventions.
  4. Coordinate interfaces between project and IT support for the prompt resolution of CAD application issues.
  5. Develop and implement the 3D CAD management plan incorporating project and contractual requirements.
  6. Support personnel in the setup and execution of CAD management processes and systems and provide user support.
  7. Manage the Smartplant S3D 3D model, global working, system administration, user support, and clash management.
  8. Provide multi-discipline CAD coordination and user support.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the LNG sector and be able to work on a long-term contract basis. They will be required to work 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week remotely. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

The rate for this contract role is c. £60-65 p/h (Ltd Co rate).
