Commercial Advisory Role

Altum Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Commercial Advisor to join their Commercial Advisory team. As a leading provider of consulting services to the Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Government, and Real Estate sectors, they support global businesses in designing and delivering transformation programmes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in guiding clients in understanding how to establish optimal commercial approaches throughout the asset life cycle. They will be able to utilise their experience and contribute to translating a client's vision into effective and realistic commercial solutions. Additionally, they will have the ability to deploy and/or optimise commercial management strategies, processes, tools, and systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Programme, Portfolio, Project Management, Operating Model, Commercial, Procurement, Cost Transformation, and Supply Chain. They will be able to lead and manage multiple projects and maintain quality deliverables against challenging time lines. Familiarity with various asset-heavy industries is also essential.

The role will involve designing and delivering future-proof and functional operating models, advising clients on best-in-class solutions for their commercial and procurement functions, and identifying strategic value levers. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver commercial strategies and models across complex portfolios of projects and individual programmes.
  • Develop and implement commercial management strategies, processes, tools, and systems.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects and maintain quality deliverables against challenging time lines.
  • Provide guidance to clients on establishing optimal commercial approaches throughout the asset life cycle.
  • Contribute to translating a client's vision into effective and realistic commercial solutions.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in Programme, Portfolio, Project Management, Operating Model, Commercial, Procurement, Cost Transformation, and Supply Chain.
  • Experience in leading and managing multiple projects and maintaining quality deliverables against challenging time lines.
