Volunteer Opportunity:

Sacro invites applications from dedicated individuals to become a Volunteer Empowerment Specialist within our North Lanarkshire Justice Service. This fulfilling role involves providing one-to-one support to individuals, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive.

As a Volunteer Empowerment Specialist, you will work closely with the Justice Worker to identify areas of need and develop personalized support plans. Your responsibilities will include teaching independent living skills, health walks, check-ins, and attending recovery meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer 1:1 support to individuals, fostering trusting relationships and empowerment

  • Attend recovery meetings and provide emotional support
  • Maintain accurate records and report to the Justice Worker

Estimated Salary: £12-14 per hour, equivalent to approximately £24,000 - £28,000 per annum for a minimum of 2 hours per week commitment.
