Trainee Accountant Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants to recruit motivated, enthusiastic trainees to join their AAT training programme in Newmarket.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or continue their career in finance. Our client offers full AAT study support and the chance to progress internally.

About the Role:

In this Trainee post, you will prepare year-end accounts, assist with corporate and personal tax computations, liaise with clients, and perform other general administrative duties appropriate to the role.

You will be responsible for supporting the accounting team with various tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of year-end accounts
  • Assistance with corporate and personal tax computations
  • Liaising with clients
  • Performing general administrative duties
Requirements:
  • AAT studies (at the beginning of your studies or looking for your first move into finance)
  • Motivated to learn
  • Team player
  • Good IT skills (strong MS Office)
