SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. You will be working with children of all ages, from primary to GCSE level, providing 1:1 tuition in Maths and English. You will be based in Leicester and surrounding areas, working with children who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be looked after (LAC).

• Provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space.
• Plan resources around the child's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.
• Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies.

• QTS or Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN/SEMH experience.
• Highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children.

• Hourly rate of £25-£30, paid weekly.
• Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses, as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.
• Opportunity to work with a national company, with access to an increased volume of tuition work.
