Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

About the Company:

Ivy Resource Group is a leading Groundworks and Civil Engineering company, operating as a sub-contractor for most of the major and regional housebuilders, as well as other market sectors.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and evaluate bills of quantities, tenders, and contract documents.
  • Track and manage project budgets, valuations, and variations.
  • Conduct site visits and work closely with project teams to monitor progress and costs.
  • Assess and negotiate sub-contractor and supplier contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and legal regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and site teams to resolve commercial issues.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients, contractors, and site teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification (Degree/HND) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within groundworks, civil engineering, or construction.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
