Job Summary

As a 7.5t Delivery Driver at DX, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of customers' products to their required premises. This involves operating a multi-drop delivery route, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to all legal and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Scan products using DX scanning equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and delivery.
  • Load and secure products safely prior to departing the depot.
  • Adhere to DX procedures and policies, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Manage delivery routes to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved, meeting customer expectations.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good working order and used at all times.
  • Report any delivery or on-road issues to the traffic office immediately, maintaining open communication.
  • Ensure customer deliveries are made in excellent condition, every time.
  • Handle customer issues in a polite and effective manner, resolving queries and concerns.
  • Collect products in line with given instructions and times, maintaining a high level of efficiency.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a valid C1 or above driving license, with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
  • Have a maximum of 6 points on your license and no bans.
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers.
  • Have the ability to build rapport with customers, understanding their needs and expectations.
