Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is a key leadership role at Next, responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales associates, developing their skills, and ensuring they provide outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in the overall management of the store, including sales floor operations and customer service.
- Lead the sales floor and drive store results through the selling team, focusing on sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute short and long-term strategies to drive top-line sales and improve customer loyalty.
- Manage competing priorities and business complexities in our higher volume stores, while delivering a memorable customer experience.
- Role model, coach, and develop best-in-class selling behaviors, and lead and inspire associates to unlock individual potential for extraordinary selling results.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading leaders and teams preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a pay-for-performance selling team preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to improve customer satisfaction and drive customer loyalty.
- Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities through time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates ability to assess talent, coach, develop, and manage performance.
