Job Overview

Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer

Futura Design Limited is seeking a skilled Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This is a 4-month contract with the option of extension at the end of year renewal, Inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles, including dimensions, mass balance, occupant positions, and mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing vehicle architecture solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Resolving complex, multi-dimensional problems and presenting solutions with clarity
  • Utilizing FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS, and Digital Buck tools to drive innovation

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent project and people management skills
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants/configurations
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline
