Elevation Recruitment Group is exclusively partnered with the UK's largest structural steel manufacturer, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in a dynamic and challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve the Quality culture throughout the business
  • Manage QA and QC Inspection personnel
  • Experience of Welding/Fabrication or Heavy Industries is essential
  • Work in accordance with the Group Quality Management System
  • Ensure the delivery of a Quality product and compliance with quality standards
  • Compliance with client's specifications around inspection, quality records, and sourcing of materials
  • Conduct investigation of non-conformances and identify opportunities for improvement through a continuous improvement approach
  • Compile quality documentation in compliance with the required codes and customer specification
  • Liaise with customer representatives when required
  • Externally audit requirements for subcontractor work
  • Write and implement project-specific inspection testing
  • Perform C works on site

Requirements:

  • Technical background or engineering experience
  • Welding, or welding inspector related experience
  • Understanding of quality systems and auditing experience
