About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at The Marketing Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations / Month end journals and reporting
  • Cash flow, forecasting and budgeting reports
  • Preparation of year end accounts
  • Process monthly payroll / Pension payments
  • HMRC submissions of VAT, PAYE, P11d and Corporation Tax
  • Preparation of the financial forecasts and contracts
  • Monthly management reporting of budgeting and forecasting
  • Reviewing expenditures including payroll and petty cash expenses
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar position
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • Sage System experience & Microsoft Excel
