Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of six professionals working on various sustainability initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing workflows and serving as a liaison between the sustainability team and senior management;
  • Developing and implementing sustainable strategies and initiatives;
  • Monitoring and reporting progress towards sustainability goals;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of sustainability into all aspects of projects;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest sustainability trends and technologies;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations;
  • Communicating sustainability initiatives and progress to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations, including BREEAM, SBEM, SAP, and CIBSE TM52, 54, and 59. Additionally, they should demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and flexible remote working arrangements.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with an enhanced medical cash plan for employees and family members, private medical and dental insurance (Bupa), pension scheme, and 25 days holiday (plus public holidays).

Location

The role is based in a privately owned building services consultancy located in the UK. As this position requires frequent communication with colleagues and clients, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
