Salary Range
The estimated salary for this KS2 Teacher role is between £38,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our team, planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons adapted to meet the needs of students with Autism and SEMH.
You will work collaboratively with SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and other staff to support student development.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress
- Collaborating with staff to provide effective support to students
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a KS2 Teacher, you must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching at the KS2 level, ideally within an SEN or alternative provision setting, is also essential.
A thorough understanding of Autism and SEMH and their impact on learning is required.
A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for working with children with special educational needs are also necessary.
