Job Title: Recovery Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Practitioner to join our team at The Nehemiah Project. As a Recovery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals recovering from addiction and providing a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to your work
  • Facilitate groups that focus on behavioural change, addiction, and other recovery-related activities
  • Work with men recovering from addiction and provide support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents and colleagues

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social or equivalent
  • Provable experience of working with men recovering from addiction
  • Excellent communication skills and an understanding of Customer Relationship Management systems
