Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Solihull Healthcare Partnership. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in providing expert medicines management services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement improved repeat prescribing and medication review processes to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Conduct structured reviews of repeat prescriptions to identify areas for improvement and optimise patient outcomes.
  • Provide leadership on quality improvement and clinical audit initiatives to drive excellence in medicines management.
  • Collaborate with the practice team to develop and implement effective medicines management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local guidelines, and stay up-to-date with the latest clinical evidence and best practices.

Requirements
  • Mandatory registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
  • CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
