Job Title: Reception Teaching Assistant - Support Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to provide support for a Reception class in a primary school. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
  • Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Reception Teaching Assistant in KS1.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or special needs support are highly desirable.
