Job Title: Associate Director CDM/H&S Adviser

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director CDM/H&S Adviser to join our Safety Management Team at Tetra Tech Europe. As a key member of our team, you will provide Principal Designer (Building Regulations) services under the Building Regulations etc. (the provision of Principal Designer and Client CDM Adviser services under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations including High-Risk Buildings (HRB) Principal Designer services; and the provision of General H&S Safety Management services. Our project sectors include but are not limited to: Residential, healthcare, local and central government, defence, transport, environmental, commercial and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Principal Designer (Building Regulations) services under the Building Regulations etc. (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2023.
  • Set-up TTE Principal Designer (Building Regulations) function including PAS 8671:2022 compliance and registration on relevant PD BR Register.
  • Integrate seamlessly into both the Safety Management team and the wider TTE Operating Unit.
  • Liaise with clients, designers, contractors and principal contractors on all matters relating to health and safety in design and construction.
  • Liaise with workers, senior management and all other interested parties on all matters relating to health and safety.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Construction (Design and Management) Regulation 2015 and Building Regulations etc.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Construction Health and Safety Management.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Occupational Health and Safety Management.
  • Holder of a full, clean driving licence and having access to a suitable vehicle.
  • Substantial experience of working as a Principal Designer and Client CDM Adviser under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulation 2015.
  • Experience of delivery of Principal Designer (Building Regulations) services under the Building Regulations etc.
  • Demonstrable experience of undertaking construction site health and safety inspections and advice.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering CDM and General H&S training.
