Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as a Charitable Stockroom Organizer. As part of the Hospice in the Weald family, you will play a vital role in preparing items for sale while socializing with other volunteers and staff.

This volunteer opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys searching for hidden gems or organizing to make sure things are nice and tidy. Your tasks may include:

• Maintaining the back rooms organized and tidy
  
• Identifying items suitable for recycling
  
• Preparing donated items for sale
  
• Spotting unique or interesting items for online selling
  

Please note that Volunteers in our shops must be over 18 years of age.

Where are the shops based?

Our charity shops are located throughout Kent and Sussex, ensuring there is a store close to you. Additionally, we have several dedicated furniture stores and a warehouse based in East Peckham.

What does this role offer?

As a Charitable Stockroom Organizer, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of approximately £8-10 per hour, depending on experience. This role also offers the chance to develop your organizational skills, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to a worthwhile cause.
