Bookkeeper Maternity Cover Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to provide maternity cover for our client on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage the finance email inbox and provide prompt assistance to any queries.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
* Assist with the production of monthly sales invoices and the allocation of receipts.
* Complete quarterly VAT returns and monthly business card analysis for allocation.
* Handle monthly CIS submissions.
* Proactively manage and collect debts from clients' customers when necessary.
* Provide administrative support to other team members and assist with day-to-day operational activities.

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in office administration and accounting duties.
* Proficiency in Xero and Excel.
* A team player with excellent service levels and the ability to work independently.
