As a Cost Controller for Rail and Civil Engineering, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality rail and civil engineering projects while contributing to the company's continued success. Our client is a leading Rope Access specialist seeking a highly skilled professional to manage and optimize project costs, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a focus on innovation and safety, with excellent financial management skills, including procuring subcontractors through tenders and preparing detailed documentation. They will also oversee subcontractor management, including issuing orders, assessing applications, and preparing payment notices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) for internal meetings, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reconciliations. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field is required, with experience in the rail or civil engineering sectors being preferred but not essential. A full driving license is also necessary.

Our client offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, with room for negotiation based on experience, as well as a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities to develop and progress within a growing organization.
