Job Summary

KING EDWARD VI SCHOOL seeks an experienced IT Director to lead our IT team. As a key member of the school's leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the IT strategy to support our 1500 staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the school's goals and objectives.
2. Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to provide effective IT support and services.
3. Oversee the management of IT systems, infrastructure, and services.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in IT.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in IT leadership and management.
2. Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and services.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
5. Experience of managing a team and delivering IT projects on time and in budget.
