About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at GRS Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a small team to deliver end-to-end finance for the business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement data management tools to enhance financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  • Liaise with credit control and other back-office functions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement KPIs and SLAs to drive business performance and efficiency.
  • Lead the team through the external audit process, ensuring a timely and effective engagement.
  • Prepare and present key financial information to the business and Board.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital, ensuring optimal financial performance.
  • Develop and implement credit risk management strategies to drive effective decision-making.
  • Prepare budgets and work closely with regional directors and managers to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Highly competent in management accounts and costing activities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
  • Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and manage workload effectively.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Chartered accountant with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
