Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement technical governance documentation, including Solution Outlines and High-Level Designs, as well as authoring Low-Level Designs and technical specifications.
  2. Manage and maintain our Office 365 environment, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  3. Implement and manage MS Endpoint Manager (Intune / Autopilot) to ensure secure and efficient device management.
  4. Administer Windows Server 2019 / 2022, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  5. Develop and implement server build processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  6. Utilize PowerShell to automate tasks and improve infrastructure management.
  7. Design and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to ensure secure and efficient remote access.
  8. Manage and maintain Windows 11 and VMware environments, including ESXi / vCentre.
  9. Migrate Windows Server and Desktop environments, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  10. Ensure our infrastructure meets security principles and compliance requirements, with a strong understanding of designing to meet these standards.
  11. Develop and implement application and infrastructure migration skills, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
Desirable Skills
  1. Ensure our internal systems are managed to the highest standard by following industry best practices.
  2. Demonstrate good problem management ownership and prevention of SLA breaches under Incident/Problem Management processes.
  3. Actively contribute to the development of existing and new IT processes and procedures to enhance service transition and service operation lifecycle stages.
  4. Experience working in a network heavily segregated by firewalls.
  5. Citrix Zen Desktop / Workspace and Citrix Netscaler expertise.
  6. Appreciation of networking and understanding of firewall rules.
  7. Understanding of building a product that will result in zero findings on a penetration test.
  8. Terraform and Ansible experience.
  9. Application Layering and Active Directory expertise.
  10. AWS and Azure experience.
Qualifications / Certifications

Desired:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent working knowledge and experience.
  2. Strong understanding and appreciation of working on business-critical production infrastructure, applications, and database services.
  3. Microsoft/VMware/Citrix/Cisco certification.
  4. Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
