We are a national manufacturing company with an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse & Dispatch Team Leader to join our team.

Job Description:

The role involves managing the daily operations of the warehouse and the dispatch department. The responsibilities include determining staffing levels and assigning workload, maintaining inventory, organizing pack-plans for production, and the daily dispatching and receiving of goods while working in compliance with all legal and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the sales administration office as necessary, regarding orders coming in;
  • Assist in ordering boxes, pallets, and pallet wrapping film as required;
  • Liaise with customers and third-party distributors as required;
  • Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment;
  • Carry out audits as necessary, using the computer stock systems as appropriate;
  • Familiar with new and existing delivery rounds and backup drivers as required;
  • Distribution of products to the right customer at the right time;

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor;
  • Logistics and supply chain management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Highly motivated and commercially minded with strong attention to detail;
  • Proactive approach to managing work priorities and meeting deadlines;

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
